SNAKE WARZ is a multiplayer online battle arena game developed by Pixel Forge Studios and released in 2023. The game is a competitive variant of the classic snake concept, where each player controls a segmented serpent on a bounded, gridless arena. The primary objective is to eliminate opposing snakes by forcing their heads to collide with the body segments of other snakes or the arena boundary. Players collect randomly spawning orbs to increase their snake’s length, which improves survivability but reduces maneuverability. The game supports up to 16 players per match, with sessions lasting approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Matches are hosted on dedicated servers, and a ranking system tracks player performance across seasons.

Gameplay mechanics are based on continuous movement and collision detection. Each snake moves forward automatically at a constant speed. The player controls direction using the mouse cursor; the snake’s head follows the cursor’s position relative to the arena. No keyboard input is required for movement. The snake’s body segments trail behind the head, forming a solid collision barrier for all players. A snake is eliminated when its head touches any segment of any snake (including its own) or the arena edge. Upon elimination, the snake’s body converts into a cluster of orbs that can be collected by surviving players. A speed boost is activated by pressing and holding the left mouse button, which temporarily increases movement speed but drains a stamina bar. Stamina regenerates when not boosting. Tactical techniques include luring opponents into tight spaces, using one’s own body to create barriers, and cutting off escape routes by encircling enemies. Boosting is best reserved for escaping traps or closing gaps during pursuit. Players should avoid crossing their own path at high speeds, as self-collision is a common cause of elimination.
