Tank Craft Merge is a mobile strategy game that combines elements of vehicle assembly, resource management, and incremental progression. The game presents a top-down battlefield where the player controls a single tank. The core objective is to destroy enemy tanks and bases to earn resources, primarily scrap metal and currency. These resources are used to acquire new tank parts and upgrade existing ones. The game distinguishes itself through a merging mechanic: identical tank parts, such as turrets, tracks, and hulls, can be combined to create a single, more powerful version of that part. The player’s tank is a composite of these parts, and its overall combat effectiveness is determined by the level and type of each component. The game features a series of increasingly difficult levels, each culminating in a boss encounter. Progression is gated by the player’s tank strength, requiring strategic merging and resource allocation to overcome tougher enemies.

Gameplay mechanics are centered on a two-phase loop: the garage phase and the combat phase. In the garage, the player manages an inventory of tank parts. Parts are categorized by type (hull, turret, tracks, and special modules) and have a numeric level. The primary action is merging: dragging one part onto an identical part of the same level produces a single part of the next level. This is the only method to increase part level. Parts are acquired through combat rewards, in-game shop purchases, or by dismantling unwanted parts for a partial resource refund.

Operation controls are touch-based. During combat, the player controls the tank’s movement by dragging a finger across the screen. The tank follows the finger’s position. The turret automatically aims at the nearest enemy within range. The player fires the main weapon by tapping the fire button located on the right side of the screen. A secondary ability, such as a shield or speed boost, is activated by tapping a dedicated icon on the left side. The player can also pause the game to access the garage mid-level, though this is not recommended during active combat.

Tactical techniques focus on resource efficiency and part synergy. A core technique is to avoid merging parts prematurely. It is often more effective to keep multiple lower-level parts to equip different tank configurations for specific level challenges. For example, a fast track part combined with a high-damage, slow-firing turret is effective against mobile enemies, while a heavy hull with a rapid-fire turret is better for stationary base destruction. The player should prioritize upgrading the hull for survivability, as a destroyed tank ends the level. A key technique is to dismantle parts from a part type that is not being used to fund upgrades for the primary part type. In combat, the player should constantly move to avoid enemy fire, using the environment’s obstacles for cover. The secondary ability should be saved for boss encounters or when surrounded, rather than used on standard enemies.
