Fuse Fury

Fuse Fury is a competitive multiplayer arena game developed by HexaForge Studios and released in 2023. The game is set in a series of enclosed, destructible arenas where two to four players control spherical robots called Fusers. The primary objective is to eliminate opponents by attaching timed explosive charges, known as Fuses, to their chassis. Each match consists of three rounds, with the winner being the player or team with the most eliminations. The arenas feature dynamic hazards, including collapsing platforms and energy barriers, which shift every thirty seconds. The game supports local split-screen and online matchmaking for up to four players.

Gameplay mechanics center on movement, fuse attachment, and detonation. Each Fuser has a health bar of 100 points. A single Fuse deals 50 damage upon detonation, but multiple Fuses can be stacked for instant elimination. Operation controls on standard controllers use the left analog stick for movement and the right analog stick for camera control. The A button performs a short-duration dash that grants invincibility frames. The X button attaches a Fuse to a targeted opponent within a 10-meter range. The Y button activates a temporary shield that blocks one Fuse attachment but drains 20% of the Fuser’s energy meter. The B button detonates all Fuses currently attached to the player’s own Fuser, sacrificing 30 health to clear them. The right trigger fires a grappling hook that pulls the player toward a surface or opponent. Tactical techniques include “chain detonation,” where a player attaches a Fuse to an opponent near a hazard, then detonates it to trigger environmental damage. “Dash feinting” involves using the dash to bait opponents into wasting their shield. Players can also “stack and retreat,” attaching multiple Fuses to a single opponent before dashing away to avoid counter-attacks.
