The game places the player in the role of a firefighter driver tasked with navigating a detailed urban environment to reach various emergency incidents. The primary objective is to drive a realistically modeled fire truck from the fire station to the scene of a fire, accident, or rescue call within a strict time limit. The game emphasizes accurate vehicle handling, traffic law adherence, and efficient route planning. The virtual city features intersections, traffic lights, pedestrian zones, and other vehicles that react to the player’s presence. The game includes multiple mission types, such as structure fires, vehicle collisions, and hazardous material spills. Each mission requires the player to park the truck at a designated position before the scenario concludes. The game does not include interior firefighting mechanics; the focus remains solely on the driving and navigation phase.

Gameplay mechanics are divided into three phases: dispatch, navigation, and arrival. Upon receiving a dispatch call, a timer begins counting down. The player must start the engine, activate the emergency lights and siren, and drive to the marked location on the map. The game uses a third-person perspective with a fixed camera behind the vehicle. The primary controls are as follows: the W key accelerates, the S key brakes or reverses, the A and D keys steer left and right. The spacebar activates the horn. The E key toggles the emergency lights on or off. The Q key activates the siren. The M key opens a full-screen map showing the route and remaining time. The left Shift key provides a temporary speed boost, but overuse reduces vehicle stability and increases the risk of collision damage. The game penalizes the player for collisions with civilian vehicles, pedestrians, or stationary objects by deducting time from the mission clock. Hitting a pedestrian results in an immediate mission failure. Tactical techniques include maintaining a moderate speed through intersections to retain control, using the siren only in high-traffic areas to encourage civilian vehicles to yield, and planning the route to avoid narrow streets that require reversing. Players should also use the speed boost only on straight, clear roads to minimize the risk of losing control. Parking the truck within the marked zone requires precise steering and gentle braking to avoid overshooting the target area. Successful completion of missions unlocks new truck models and city districts.
